Moving was such an exciting time! A little bit stressful, but thanks to our family and friends being so great it was mostly exciting. My mom and grandparents literally scrubbed every inch of our house before we moved in (it was so great to move into a CLEAN home!), my mother-in-law came up again to help us finish the last of our packing (so thankful!), and our awesome dads, brother Keith, and friends Colin, Zack, and Tom helped us move! I just felt so much gratitude during that memorable week of our lives!
We closed on Wednesday, June 13th. Afterwards we celebrated by taking a walk through OUR house and praying over the time to be spent there and memories to be made, having a toast on OUR back porch, and then going to Ruth's Chris for a celebratory dinner! Kevin won a gift certificate for there when he won a poker tournament a few months back, and we knew this would be the perfect night to use it! Mom got emotional when I called her after we closed and said to get a bottle of wine on them :) It was a great celebration, and a delicious dinner!!

Beginning the move the Saturday following our closing!

Mom insisted on this shot...ha! |

Kevin's mom brought a ham for sandwiches, chips, and homemade chocolate cake for everyone who helped with the move! |

Good thing I insisted on getting the bigger truck :) |

Exactly what I wanted our back porch to be used for...relaxing with good friends! |
After the move, Amanda and Craig came by to see the house, and Josh, Brianna, Isaac, Maggie came over to grill out with Kevin, Keith and me! Colin surprised us by generously giving us his grill so it was awesome to be able to grill out our first night there!

Awesome birthday gift from Maggie! We love our lime tree! |
Later on Keith, Maggie, Kevin, and I checked out a bar/restaurant about a mile from our house, Olde Blind Dog, and then when we came home we felt inspired to take goofy stair pictures, ha!
What a fun day! Then, the next day we got up and left for the
beach with Kevin's family, whew!
