Three Little Riggs: High School Friends

The 2nd weekend in January we went to my friend Kristyn's house for our annual high school get together. We get together as a group at least a couple times a year and I always look forward to hanging out with this wonderful, fun group of friends!

It is really neat to keep in touch with the people I was close to in high school - we have seen each other grow up as we've shared excitement over moving away from home for the first time, watched each other's personalities change and develop through college years, offered encouragement when relationships failed and shared happiness when we fell in love, seen each other's careers blossom and change, and celebrated lots of engagements and marriages and pregnancies!

This year we had a Mexican food theme and everyone outdid themselves! We had margaritas, nachos/dips/yummy sides, Mexican chicken soup, and flan. I can't believe we have four children in our group and another one on the way (congrats Heather!)! It was a fun night and I look forward to the next time we're all together again.
